A large, very wide, Victorian four panel pine door with two panels for glazing. The door is solid and well made with mortise and tenon joints. The door is stripped to bare wood and is ready for finishing by purchaser, perhaps with a paint or wax finish. There are two large rectangular panels for glazing, which would look lovely with stained or plain glass. We can glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The base of the door has two solid panels with decorative mouldings surrounding them. The door requires hardware, to be supplied by purchaser. There are some signs of wear and slight damage to the door, as expected of reclaimed items. The door has some small knocks, marks, scratches and holes. There are some stains and discolouration. The door has some filler and patch repairs where holes were left from door hardware. There is some slight separation to the joints. The door has had a slim baton added to one side. There are some surface splits, especially a larger one in the central rail but this does not affect the structural integrity of the door. The door height and width may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is a solid and well made item, with a great size, and it will look fantastic once finished and glazed, making a lovely feature within a home.
