A reclaimed 4 panel pine door suitable for internal or perhaps external use. The door has been very well made, with mortise and tenon joints, and is likely to date to the late Victorian period, C1890s. The door has 4 recessed panels with decorative moulding and the door has been painted white. The panels are approximately12mm thick and the door could therefore be for external use if desired. The door is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of wear and age, as expected of antique items. The door does have some knocks, marks and chips especially to the edges and corners. There are some small holes and marks left from hardware removal. The door height may need slight levelling. The base edge has a slight slope or notch making it a slightly smaller width there. The door will need stripping and re-painting as the paint has flakes and chips in areas. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a very elegant Victorian appearance that would be ideal for a period home and is thick and heavy, making it perfect for internal or external use.
