A very attractive lateVictorian pine front door with pretty arched and glazed panels. The door is very well made and is mortised and tenoned with raised and fielded lower panels on the front face. The door has two central rectangular glazed panels and three decorative arched panels above, all with frosted glass. The door has existing hardware, with a door knocker, letter box and hinges. The door also has a lock but there is no key and therefore will need to be replaced. The internal face has a weather strip that purchaser may wish to remove or replace. The door is painted black on the front face and white on the internal face, with some paint testing patches. The door will need stripping and refinishing by purchaser to suit. The door is in good solid condition but there are some knocks and chips as expected of reclaimed antiques, especially to the base edge. The paint has some chipping and wear. The hinges have some surface rust. The door will need slight levelling as the width and height varies slightly. The door is a wonderful example of Victorian design and would make a fantastic feature within a home.
