A pretty Victorian painted pine front door and sidelight that will need some restoration. The door has been well made with mortise and tenon joints and dates to C.1890. The door has four raised and fielded panels at the base and there are 3 large panels with pretty detailing, ready for glazing. The sidelight has two raised and fielded panels and 2 further panels that have textured glass. The glass has breaks and will need replacing. We can re-glaze the door and sidelight for an extra charge, please contact us for details and to discuss your requirements. The front face of the door is painted black and the back face is unpainted. Hardware is required, to be supplied by purchaser. The door is sold as seen and has some damage and wear and it will need some restoration. There are some areas of damage with some knocks and large chips to the wood. The sidelight has broken glass. There are some splits and cracks to both the door and sidelight. There are chips and knocks to the edges and weather strip. The sidelight has some deep splits that will need repair. The door has had a side and base baton added and purchaser may wish to remove these. There are some holes where hardware has been removed. The height may need slight levelling. The paint has chips and wear and the door will need stripping and re-painting. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a lovely Victorian design and once restored and re-painted it will make a lovely feature within a home.
