A handsome, reclaimed,Victorian glazed front door. The pine door is solid and well made with mortise and tenon joints. The door design is a typical style of the era with attractive arched panels at the top of the door, fitted with etched glass. The centre and base of the door has raised and fielded panels of varying sizes and there are two raised and fielded panels on the internal face. The larger mid panels are made of mahogany and were added at a later date. The door has a letter plate and period style brass knocker. The door is in good reclaimed condition with small signs of use and wear, as expected. The paint has chips, marks and stains and may need re-touching or sanding and re-finishing. The door hardware has some tarnish and scratches and the hinges have some surface rust. The pine has some small knocks and chips, especially to the base and edges. The old door numbers have left some indentations in the paint. The lock will need to be replaced as there is no key. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a nice period appearance and is well made and will be a fantastic addition to the home.
