A handsome, reclaimed, pine external door with glazing panels. The door has a traditional design with 6 panels and is well made with mortise and tenon joints. The base of the door has two solid panels that are recessed on the internal face. The top of the door has four panels, two small and two larger, for glazing. The door was glazed with frosted laminate glass and the glass is included in the price. If the glass is not to purchasers taste we can offer to re-glaze the doors for an extra charge. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. We have added new pine glazing bead to the external face and we have photographed the door with and without the glass. The door has been stripped on the external face and it is currently painted white on the internal face and green on the sides. Purchaser will need to sand the existing paint and finish the door to suit. The door has a hole for letter box plate. Door hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser. The door is in good, solid condition with some signs of wear and age, as expected of antique items. The door has some holes and marks left from hardware removal. Some holes have been patch repaired and some filled. We can patch repair holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details. The base has an oak strengthening baton attached. There are some surface cracks and splits but the door is solid and stable. There is a crack to one of the glazing beads on the painted face. The door has some knocks and chips to the edges and corners. The painted face will need sanding by purchaser. The door height may need slight levelling. The laminate glass has marks, some scratches and paint residue on the outer edges. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is a well made and nicely designed item that would make a lovely feature for a home.
