A very pretty, reclaimed, Victorian pine front door with stained glass panels. The door is well made with mortise and tenon joints and has a very nice appearance, typical of the late Victorian era. The external face of the door has four raised and fielded panels and the top half of the door has three panels fitted with stained glass. The original stained glass and leadwork is in need of repair as there are several breaks, however the design is very pretty, with flowers and leaves in bright colours and it will look fantastic once repaired. The door has been stripped and the external face has been undercoated, ready for purchaser to paint in a colour to suit. The door has a space ready for a letter plate, to be supplied by purchaser. The door is in good solid condition with some signs of wear and age, as expected of reclaimed antiques. The pine has some small knocks and chips. The base of the door and solid panels have some thin surface splits. The door has some small patches of old paint residue seen under the undercoat. The glass has some red paint residue. The door has some holes from hardware removal. The door width may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for door and glass condition details. The door has a very elegant period appearance and would be perfect for a Victorian property.
