A very attractive, French, oak chateau door or decorative panel. The door is antique and dates to the Victorian era. The door is stripped to bare oak and has an attractive grain and colour. The door has raised and fielded panels with bolection moulding. The door is tall and quite thin so would be ideal for a cupboard front, en-suite or a stunning decorative panel. The door has had a pine rebate attached at a later date but this could possibly be removed by purchaser. One side of the door has a rustic escutcheon and door handle plate. The door has a very rustic appearance and would make a wonderful interior feature. The door is antique and therefore has some damage and signs of wear. There is some damage to the base corners and some knocks and chips to the edges. There are holes and marks where the door hardware has been removed. There are some stains and marks to the oak. Some slight separation and wood shrinkage at the joints. One piece of moulding has some slight damage, please see pictures for details. The door can be left as bare wood or painted by purchaser. A very interesting and attractive item that would make a wonderful interior feature.
Please note all measurements are approximate due to age and slight wear.
