An attractive 3 over 3 panel stripped pine internal door likely to date to the late Victorian period. The door has been stripped to bare wood and has an attractive colour and interesting grain. The door is of a good size and is solid and well made with mortise and tenon joints. There are decorative mouldings around the 6 recessed panels. The door has had some patch repairs and some filler has been applied to gaps between the moulding and the rails. Purchaser may wish to remove and re-apply the filler and the wood is ready for finishing by purchaser to suit. The door has some signs of age, as expected of reclaimed antiques. The pine has some scratches, and marks. The door has some holes and marks from age and hardware removal. Some knocks and chips can be seen, especially to the edges and corners and there are some thin surface splits and holes in the panels. The door width and height may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for details. The door has great character and period charm and it would be ideally suited to a Victorian home.
