An attractive, reclaimed, stripped pine internal four panel door, likely to date to the early 20th Century. The door is well made with mortise and tenon joints and has a lovely design with four recessed panels with decorative mouldings and crenellation detail to the top panels. The pine has been stripped and the wood has an attractive colour and grain. The pine does have some dampness at the base and so the door will probably not be able to be painted. As expected of reclaimed items the door has some signs of wear and age. Some filler and a small amount of residue paint can be seen. The door has some holes and marks where hardware has been removed. The door has some knocks and surface splits and the edges and corners have some small knocks and slight damage. The pine has some scratches, splintering, marks and slight discolouration. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is a very nice item with good character and is ideal for a period home.
