An attractive, reclaimed, Arts and Crafts painted pine internal glazed door, likely to date to 1890-1900. The door has been well made with mortise and tenon joints and has elegant gunstock stiles. The base of the door has two recessed panels with plank detailing. The top of the door has two nice arched panels for glazing. We can glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door has been painted, white on one face and light grey on the other, but the paint has chips and marks and purchaser will need to sand and refinish the door to suit. The door is in solid and useable condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected of reclaimed antiques. There are some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. We can patch repair holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. There is some slight damage near the base of one glazing panel, where the door has a knock and some splintering. The door has one hinge and it has seized and it will need to be removed by purchaser and new hinges added. The door height and width may need very slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a a very elegant appearance, ideal for a period home and is a well made and desirable item.
