A nicely made, reclaimed, Victorian style pine internal door. The door is of a petite size and is of a good quality, with stub tenons and all joints are pegged. The door is traditional in style with four recessed panels with decorative mouldings. The wood has a Victorian style colour finish, either a wax or varnish and it has 3 brass hinges. The door is currently 77cm wide but purchaser could cut the door to 72cm or even 71cm if needed, by cutting the large side rails down. If cut to 72cm the side rails could each be cut to 10cm width, to match the centre rail and the door would retain its strength and the door proportions would be fine. The door is in solid condition with some signs of use, as expected of reclaimed items. The door has some wood knots, some with small cracks and some wood knot holes have been filled. The door has some small scratches, splinters and knocks and there are some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. The brass hinges have some tarnish. Please see pictures for details. The door has a nice traditional design and would make a good feature in a home.
