A pretty, reclaimed, stripped pine internal cottage door with glazing. The door has a traditional period appearance with two flush panels on the outside face and recessed panels on the inside face. The top of the door has four large rectangular panels fitted with textured glass, however please note the GLASS DOES NOT MEET CURRENT SAFETY STANDARDS and WILL NEED TO BE CHANGED. We can quote to re-glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door is solid and well made with mortise and tenon joints and the pine has a nice grain and colour. The pine has been stripped and it may have had a wax or stain applied at some point. Purchaser may wish to sand and re-wax the door to suit. The door is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of use and wear, as expected. The door has some holes and marks where hardware has been removed. The door has some small knocks and chips, especially to the edges and corners. The door has had some filler and patch repairs. There are some thin surface splits and some very slight separation to some of the joints. The door height may need slight levelling. The door did have a drip bar and a thin baton can be seen just above the base edge where it sat. The pine has some discolouration and staining. Some metal security locks at top and bottom are present and will need removing. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is ideal for a farmhouse or cottage and has a nice look.
