A reclaimed, antique, stripped pine six panel internal door, likely to date to the mid Victorian era. The door has an elegant and traditional design with six recessed panel on each side, surrounded by decorative beading. The door has had a varnish or waxed finish at some point. The door is a reclaimed antique and has some damage and signs of age. The pine has splits and cracks and there are some knocks and chips. Some damage and wood knot holes have had filler applied. Old hinge slots have been patch repaired as new hinge slots were made for the other side of the door. Only one hinge is present. There is damage to the top of one of the base panels, some large splits and cracks to the panel and some of the moulding bead is missing. The panel has some old filler. We can perhaps carry out some repairs to the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss possibilities and for a quote. The other panels have some splits and cracks. The door height and width may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is ideal for a period home and has a very nice traditional design.
