A reclaimed stripped pine four panel door, likely to date to C.1900. The door is solid and well made and is suitable for internal use. The door has a traditional appearance with four panels, two larger over two smaller, with the top two panels for glazing. The bottom panels are recessed and have decorative mouldings around them. The pine has been stripped to bare wood but there are some stains and marks and you may wish to further sand the door.
The door is in reclaimed condition with some signs of age and wear as expected. There are some knocks, surface splits and chips, especially to the corners and edges. There is some residue filler or paint around the panels. There are some marks and holes where door hardware has been removed. Some filler has been applied to small holes. The door height may need slight levelling. The pine has some stains and marks. There are some wood knots and holes within wood knots. The hinges have some surface rust. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is of a good size and has a nice period design, ideal for adding character to a home.
