A reclaimed stripped pine four panel door, likely to date to C.1900. The door is solid and well made with mortise and tenon joints and is suitable for internal use. The door has a traditional appearance with four recessed panels, two larger over two smaller, with decorative mouldings around them. The pine has been stripped to bare wood.
The door is in reclaimed condition with some signs of age and wear as expected and it has had some repairs. The top of the door has had a large patch repair, replacing damaged wood. The repair is sturdy and strong but the join can be seen. The door has some filled holes. The panels have some splits and cracks. The pine has some knocks, chips, splinters and scratches. There are some stains and marks to the pine and you may wish to lightly re-sand the door. There are some holes and marks from hardware removal and some holes have been patch repaired. The door has some wood knots. The hinges have surface rust. You may wish to level the height and width of the door. Please see pictures for condition details.
