A pair of reclaimed Victorian pine glazed French doors. The doors have a simple and traditional design, each having three panels, glazed with clear glass. The glass is antique and DOES NOT meet current safety standards. We can re-glaze the doors or apply a safety film to the glass so it meets regulations, for an extra charge. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote for either re-glazing or safety film. The doors have been painted white but the paint has chips and flaking and the doors will need sanding and re-painting by purchaser to suit. The doors were used as a sliding door and have a tongue and groove inner edge to keep them together. If the doors are to be used in the traditional opening fashion the inner edges will need to be adjusted and a rebated edge added. We can remove the tongue and add a rebated edge so the doors open, for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements. The doors are in solid condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected of antique items. There are some holes and indentations at the top where sliding door furniture was removed. We can fill and patch repair holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details. Some glazing putty is missing and much of it has cracks. The doors have had some patch repairs. There are some knocks and chips to the pine. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a nice appearance and would make a lovely feature in a home.
