We offer firebacks and stools to match our fire fronts or inserts. This is if you do not have a fire brick in your chimney or the fire you want has no back to it.
Many of the fires we reclaim in the case of Victorian or Georgian dated items have damaged or unserviceable backs due to years of use we offer this replacement fire brick and firestool service as a solution.
The fireback and stool solve making the fire look complete even if you do not intend to use it,
The advantage of having a stone firebrick is that they have a larger burning area for wood whilst most old fires had smaller burning areas for use with coal.
Each fire will need a specific brick to suit depending on the opening size of the fire or insert. The fire stool is also chosen so that there is a good fit to the front bars which can be curved or straight.
