A fantastic Victorian oak front door with original stained glass. The door has a painted front face and varnished inner face. The door has very good quality hardwear, with a decorative brass letter plate, attractive brass knocker and locks, with key. The door has two lower panels with moulded detailing and the base of the door has a solid weather bar. The top half of the door has two original Victorian stained glass panels with a flower and leaf design and coloured squares above and below the flower. The panels have red and blue rectangular border pieces. The glass is intact and the colours are bright and pretty. The door has toughened clear glass in front of the stained glass to protect it from weather and for security. The door is soild and well constructed and is in very good, antique condition. The door does have splits to the bottom panels, see pictures for details, but the door is structually sound. The oak has some small holes where some hardwear has been removed and there are some light marks. There is some slight paint excess to one side of the door. The door does not come with recievers for the locks. The door is a solid, well made and very pretty item that would add great character to a home. A fantastic example of Victorian style and design.
