A lovely, rustic, chateau style, French painted pine door with three panels. The door is reclaimed and has pretty moulded detailing around the panels, of which there are 3 sizes. The pine has a shabby chic style paint effect, with one face painted white and blue around the moulded detailing. The other face has been painted white. The door can be used internally or would make a fantastic decorative panel. The item has some wear consistent with age. The paint has a shabby feel, with chipping and peeling. The door can be stripped and refinished by purchaser, either with a wax or paint finish. There are some scratches and marks to both the paint and the pine and there are areas of paint missing where the lock has been removed. The hinges will need replacing by purchaser as there is only one part of the original barrel type hinge attached to the door. There are some cracks that do not affect the structural integrity of the door. The door has some small areas of damage, with splinters and knocks to the edges and corners. The door is solid and useable. A very pretty door with fine detailing, it has an abundance of character and charm. The door would benefit from refinishing and would be wonderful within a shabby chic, rustic or chateau style interior.
