A pair of matching, very solid and heavy, six panel pine internal Georgian doors. The doors have attractive mouldings around the panels that differ in size from top to base. The doors are large in size and are very well constructed. The doors have a painted finish but will need to be stripped and finished by purchaser as desired. Each door differs very slightly in size but can be used as a pair or as two single doors. The door hardware has mainly been removed, but one door has the recievers to a pin type hinge. There is a key plate and brass name plate frame. The doors are late Georgian, dating to approximately 1800. Due to age the doors do have many visible signs of wear. The paint is flaking and has chips and splits. There are many holes and marks where the door hardware has been removed. There are knocks, chips and small splits in the wood, especially the corners, but the doors are solid and useable. There is some slight surface rust to existing hinges. Please see photographs for condition details. The door hardware will need to be provided by purchaser. The doors are a rare example of fantastic Georgian design and would look wonderful in a period home.
