DI0665 A Classic Edwardian Designed Door with Veneered Oak

A classic Edwardian door for internal use. Usually these doors are made in pitch pine, but this door was obviously a special commission, having been finished in veneered oak, meaning the grain is wonderful. One face has been french polished and the other face stained darker, then polished. There is some small damage to the lock edge of the door which we can quote to fix. The construction is most likely morticed and tenoned but the veneer is hiding this detail.
