A fantastic Victorian, cast iron, espagnolette bolt originally used on shutters. The beautiful bolt has been restored and has a fully working mechanism. The iron has been stripped and lacquered and has an attractive silvery finish. The bolt can also be painted by purchaser if required. The bolt has an attractive design, typical of the era, with decorative mouldings at each end. The handle has a small circular design. The bolt is sold with receivers for both ends. Currently the size of the bolt would require a door leaf size of 156.5cm but the bar could possibly be cut down for an EXTRA CHARGE. Please contact us to discuss your requirements. The bolt is antique and has some slight scratches and marks but is in very good condition. The bolt would make a beautiful addition to shutters or a smaller door and has wonderful period detailing.
