A very attractive, solid and heavy, Georgian pine front door. The door has a very elegant design with 6 raised and fielded pyramid panels and pine moulding running vertically down the centre of  the door to create a visual split illusion. The internal face has fielded panels with decorative mouldings surrounding them. The door has a metal letterbox that has been painted black. The door is solid, very well made and heavy. The door has been painted but has some scratches, chips and marks and therefore will need stripping and refinishing and the small "Top Flat" plate removing. The door is in very good antique condition with some slight signs of wear as expected of reclaimed items. The pine has some slight knocks and chips, especially to the base edge. There are some thin surface cracks to the internal face of the door. The width and height of the door has slight discrepancies and will need levelling. The door will need new hinges and the old hinges removing. The door will need a new lock as there is no key for the existing one. The door has a wonderful period design and is a lovely example of Georgian style. The door would add great character to a home and is a very finely made item.
