A very heavy cast iron fire back, probably a Victorian reproduction dated 1649 which is the last year of Charles I reign. It has been reclaimed from a very large house near Guildford Surrey.

Measures 76cm/30” wide by 82cm/32” tall. It is 4cm thick at the edge
