A classic style, plain, reclaimed fire back for use with a fire basket or basket and fire dogs. The fire back is very large with a decorative arched top and thin pencil moulding around the edge. The fire back is thin enough to slot behind a fire basket and fire dog set and we have photographed the item with a basket and fire dogs for illustrative purposes. The basket and fire dogs are SOLD SEPERATELY and are available for sale, please see our other listings for details. The fire back is in very good reclaimed condition with some small casting marks and scratches visible. The back has some surface rust as expected. The fire back is ideal for use in a period or modern home due to its simple, classic, design. The fire back is in good solid condition and is a useful and attractive item. Please note the fire back is heavy and suitable transport will be needed for collection.
