A reclaimed antique cottage style oak front door. The door is solid and well made with an attractive design. The door has a diamond shaped panel, ready for glazing with either plain or stained glass. We can quote for glazing, please contact us for further information and to discuss your requirements. The diamond panel is surrounded by plain mouldings and these match the mouldings that run vertically down the door. The door has a vertical hole for a letterbox, to be supplied by purchaser. The oak is stripped and ready for finishing by purchaser with either an exterior paint, varnish or oil. The oak has an attractive colour and grain although there is some dark staining in places. This could be covered by painting the door. The door is reclaimed and therefore has some signs of use and wear. There are some knocks, small splits and chips out of the door, especially to the base edge, please see pictures for details. There are some small holes and stains where door hardware was present. The door has had some patch repairs. The height may need slight leveling due to very small differences in the height from one side of the door to the other. The oak door has great character, ideal for a cottage or rustic property and is a well made and attractive item.
