A large elegant hand carved solid oak 6 panel door. The door is in the Georgian style but dates to the Victorian period and is very well constructed. The front face of the door has 6 raised and fielded panels with beautiful hand carved detailing around each. The back face has plain raised and fielded panels. The door has been varnished. We can hand strip the door and patch repair hardware holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. The door has some signs of wear and age, as expected of antique items. There are some small holes and marks from the original door hardware. The lock is present but may need to be changed to suit door frame. There are some scratches and marks and discolouration to the varnish, please see pictures for details. There are some slight differences in the height from one side of the door to the other and therefore it may need some slight adjustment. The door has a very handsome appearance and is a stunning example of Victorian craftsmanship.
