A lovely cast iron and brass, reclaimed, reproduction fire register. The register has a classic design with plain back with serpentine shaped top and front bars. The register has a decorative brass design below the grill, brass acorn finials and tapered brass legs. The register is a heavy and quality item that is usable and in very good condition and the iron has been blacked and polished and the brass has a high shine finish.  The register has some very slight signs of wear, as expected of reclaimed items. There is some surface rust to the back. Some light scratches and marks can be seen and some knocks to the front bars.  A lovely register that has a classic design, suitable for period and modern homes and is fully functional. The register would add great character to a hearth and is a desirable item.
