A very desirable, vintage, reclaimed steel filing cabinet dating to the 1950's. The outside of the cabinet has been stripped, burnished and lacquered giving an attractive, industrial, silver finish. The unit has 15 drawers for the storage of paperwork or small hobby or craft items. Each drawer has small clips for naming labels to be attached and a pull handle. The cabinet stands on four tapered steel legs. The item is in very good usable reclaimed condition and the drawers are all free running. The cabinet has some slight signs of use, adding to the industrial / warehouse feel of the item. There are some small scratches, knocks, tarnish and marks. The drawers have some light surface rust. The filing cabinet has a fantastic modern finish that would blend perfectly in an industrial work or home setting. The unit is very useful, with an abundance of storage, and has wonderful character, making it a fantastic show piece for home or business.
