An antique pine Victorian door suitable for interior or exterior use with rectangular panels for glazing. The door is solid and very well made with two solid panels at the base of the door, with attractive mouldings on both sides. The door has been stripped to bare wood and is ready for finishing by purchaser. If used externally the door will need a paint or varnish suitable for exterior use. The door has two large rectangular panels for glazing which would look lovely with stained or plain glass. We can glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door requires hardware, to be supplied by purchaser. The door has some slight signs of wear due to age, as expected of reclaimed items. The door has some surface splits, cracks and knocks. One face has a slither of wood missing near the base and the other to the top rail. There is some moisture staining to the top of the door from stripping. The door has had some patch repairs where original hardware has been removed. The door has a classic design that would look fantastic when glazed. The door is suited to a period home and is a great example of Victorian craftsmanship.
