A very large reclaimed antique stoneware plinth that would be ideal as a base for large urn, planter or garden statue. The plinth is of an unusually large size, making it a rare and desirable piece. The plinth has carved detailing around the base and top edges and is classical in design. The plinth is suitable for outdoor use and has a pleasing weathered finish. The top has a large hole to accommodate an urn base. As expected of reclaimed items, there are some signs of use and wear, adding to the rustic appearance. There are several chips to the corners and edges and there is a small hole worn in to one side, please see pictures for details. The top hole for the urn has rough edges. The stoneware has some patina and weathering adding to the reclaimed appearance. The plinth has a fantastic classical look and paired with an antique urn or other decorative item it would make a wonderful decorative garden piece.
