M1300 AN ATTRACTIVE RECLAIMED ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN PORCELAIN BOLDING SINK

A very pretty Edwardian porcelain antique bathroom sink made by Bolding. The sink has a lovely period design with high sides and attractive soap dishes with a shell design on either side of the taps. The taps have porcelain HOT and COLD signs. The sink has the makers name painted below the overflow and reads "John Bolding & Sons Ltd, Grosvenor Works, London W". The sink has  waste pipe and waste trap but purchaser may prefer to update this. The sink is a solid item but there are some signs of wear, as expected of antique items. There are some large visible cracks the sides and back and some smaller knocks and chips, please see pictures for details. There is some lime scale that should be able to be removed by using a lime scale cleaner. The sink has a very attractive design and would be perfect for fitting in to a period table top or placed on a large traditional pedestal. The sink is a great example of Edwardian design and would suit a period home.
