A vintage antique oak and pine plan chest. The chest has six wide low drawers, designed for architectural plans or maps and each drawer has two wooden pulls. The chest has an oak front, pine top and framework and ply side panels and drawer bottoms. The chest has been varnished but purchaser may wish to strip and re-finish with a varnish or paint to suit. The chest is reclaimed and therefore has some signs of age and wear. There are some scratches and marks visible and there is some damage to the right hand side of the top drawer. The front right hand side is missing some pine at the base. There are some small splits and knocks to the edges but the chest is solid and useable and all drawers are free moving. The chest has a fantastic vintage appearance and is perfect for storing papers or paintings. Ideal for a home or business the chest is an unusual and desirable item.
