A very pretty and decorative cast iron wood burning stove. The stove is French and has a very ornate design with serpentine edge base tray in which the wood burner sits. The wood burner has a textured design with small open squares and the front has an upwards opening door with handle, that locks when down, for accommodating the logs. The wood burner has a grill plate for the logs to sit on. The flue extends out from the wood burner and goes upwards for attaching to a vertical pipe. The cast iron has a heatproof lacquer finish. Please note the lacquer will emit a smell on first burn. The fire is reclaimed and has no modern safety mark. The wood burner can be for decorative use or used in the garden as an interesting heater. Purchaser could speak to a HETAS fitter to carry out work to ensure the wood burner is safe for inside use. The wood burner is in very good reclaimed condition but there are some very slight signs of use. The are some very slight patches of surface rust and some surface rust to the back as expected. The wood burner has a very pretty and unusual design with a lovely French country appearance. The wood burner would be ideal for use in the garden or would make a stunning feature within the home.
