A stunning Art Deco hardwood front door with glazed panels dating to the 1930's. The reclaimed antique door has a very attractive design with ornate mouldings creating triangular detailing surrounding diamond shaped glazed panels. The base of the door has raised and fielded panels with raised mouldings. The door is hardwood and we believe it is probably teak and is therefore very strong and heavy. The glass has no stickers and we are therefore unsure if it is toughened, meeting safety requirements. Purchaser will have to ensure glass meets current safety requirements. The door has been stripped to bare wood, ready for an oil finish, suited for outdoor use. The wood has a beautiful rich colour and attractive grain. The door is in very good condition with some slight signs of wear, consistent with age. There are some small holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. We may be able to patch repair the holes if required, please contact us for details and a quote. There are some small knocks and marks and some slight colour variation in the wood, please see pictures for details. The door height may need slight levelling. The door has a very attractive design and would be a unique addition to a house. The design of the door is ideal for a period home and is a fine example of Art Deco style.
