A very attractive oak front door with a Gothic style appearance. The door has been stripped to bare wood and has a lovely colour and grain. The door has thick raised mouldings, creating a vertical panelled effect. The top corners of the panels are shaped in a Gothic style. The top half of the door has a small panel, ready for glass. We can glaze the door with a glass of your choice, please contact us for a quote and to discuss your requirements. The door is ready for finishing by purchaser, with perhaps a varnish or wax, suitable for exterior use. The door requires hardware, to be supplied by purchaser, and there is a space below the square panel for a letterbox. The door is reclaimed and therefore has some slight signs of wear. There are some small knocks and marks. Some holes and marks can be seen where the door hardware has been removed. We could patch repair holes for an extra charge. There is some slight colour variation in the wood. The door height may need very slight levelling. The door is slightly out of square by approximately 8-10mm when a flat bar is rested from one corner to the other. The door is solid, with great style, ideal for a cottage or period country home. The oak is of a fantastic quality and the door is a very desirable item.
