DE0831 A BEAUTIFUL VICTORIAN FRONT DOOR WITH ETCHED GLASS PANEL

A very pretty Victorian pine front door with a beautiful etched glass panel. The panel features a large starburst surrounded by vines and leaves and the design is clear and bright. The etched panel has a toughened glass panel in front of it to meet safety regulations. The door is very well made with mortise and tenon joints and raised and fielded panels below the glass on the exterior face. The pine has been stripped to bare wood but there are some slight patches of residue paint left. The door will need a fine sanding and finishing by purchaser to suit. The door requires hardware, to be supplied by purchaser. There are some signs of wear, as expected of antique items. The door has some damage to the base and there are some small holes and marks where the door hardware has been removed, the larger holes have been patch repaired. There are some rough edges to the letterbox opening. There is some residue paint left from stripping. The glass is intact but there are some small imperfections, with some darker lines and a very small spot of paint between the etched and toughened glass. The door is a lovely example of Victorian design and would make a fantastic statement front door.
