DP0282 TWO PAIRS OF VERY LARGE EDWARDIAN PITCH PINE INTERNAL DOORS

SOLD

Code: DP0282

Two pairs of very tall, handsome, pitch pine internal Edwardian doors. The doors are very well made with mortise and tenon joints and have a fantastic appearance with 3 fielded panels on each door, with the larger in the centre. Each door has pencil mouldings and the bottom panels have a different style of moulding on one face. The doors have a very rich colour and have a stain or varnished finish. Each pair of doors have a rebated edge so they sit nicely together when hung. The doors retain their brass keyhole covers but will require other hardware and the existing locks will need to be replaced. The doors are of a fantastic size but could be cut down to a smaller size by removing the top panel, both measurements are listed below. The doors are in very good antique condition, however there are some slight signs of use and wear. There are some knocks and deep scratches to the wood. There is a graze to one of the mouldings and there are some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. We can stain the grazes and scratches to match the door colour and patch repair the doors for an extra charge. Please contact us for details and a quote. Some chips are present, mainly to the edges of the doors. The doors are very fine with a wonderful appearance and would be ideal for use as room dividers. The doors are very well made and are ideal for making a statement in a period home.
