FS0099 ELEGANT LARGE EDWARDIAN CAST IRON FIRE SURROUND FOR WOODBURNER

An elegant, larger sized, Edwardian cast iron fire surround, dating to the early 1900's. The fire has a classic design  with an urn and flowers, typical of the era. The mantel is a replacement and is made of steel. The fire has been blacked and polished and has a lovely finish. Both fixing lugs are present. The surround is of a perfect size for a living or dining room and can be paired with a fire basket or wood burner. The fire is in good condition but is antique and therefore has some wear. There are some small knocks and chips to the mantel and feet. The mantel is a steel replacement. The back has surface rust as expected. Some small scratches and marks can be seen. A fantastic item that has a classic design, suitable for both period and modern properties. The surround will make a lovely feature within a home.
