A very attractive, reclaimed, cottage style oak front door with a panel for glazing. The door has been stripped to bare wood and has a lovely colour and grain. The door is of a very good quality design, with mortise and tenon joints. The external face of the door has vertical mouldings, creating a paneled effect. There is a square panel near the top of the door, ready for glazing. We can glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us for a quote and to discuss your requirements. The internal face has a planked construction with a central ledge. The door is ready for finishing by purchaser, with perhaps a varnish, wax or paint suitable for exterior use. The door requires hardware, to be supplied by purchaser and there is a space for a letterbox. The door is very well made but is reclaimed and therefore has some signs of use and wear. The door has some holes, marks and stains where door hardware has been removed. We can patch repair holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details. There are some areas of discolouration and staining. The door has some knocks and chips, especially to the edges. There is some slight damage to the edge of the moulding around and above the letter box space. The door height may need slight leveling. The door is perfect for a cottage or rustic property and is a well made and attractive item.
