M1388 RECLAIMED EXTERIOR SOLID OAK PORCH POSTS AND CURVED BRACKETS

A set of reclaimed solid oak porch posts, top post and curved brackets. The posts are extremely thick and heavy and the large brackets have an attractive curved design. The oak is sanded to bare wood and has a lovely rustic appearance. The posts are reclaimed and sold as seen and will need some repair before use. The oak will need to be finished with an exterior paint or oil to suit. The post feet have some damage from weathering and the base of the feet are uneven with some damage. The posts will either need to be cut or repaired if possible. The posts have some cracks, although they are still solid and stable. The oak has some discolouration and marks. The back of the top rail and one post has a large surface split. The joints are not secure and fixing hardware will need to be added. There are some chips, small holes and knocks to the edges. Please see pictures for condition details. The posts and brackets have a great rustic look and will be fantastic placed outside a home once restored.
