Dimensions:

A very pretty, highly decorative, pine fire surround. The surround is solid and well made and has a lovely design with flower detailing to each corner under the mantel. The crossbar and legs have raised reeding and there is a decorative repeating border under the mantel. The pine has been waxed and polished and has a high shine finish. The surround is ideal for framing a cast iron insert and is of a good size for a living or dining room. The surround is reclaimed and has some slight signs of use and wear, as expected. There are some marks and knocks to the wood. The mantel has a small amount of damage to the front edge where it has been knocked and created slight splits. The base of the legs have some discolouration and scratches. Please see pictures for details. The surround has a very appealing appearance that would suit both modern and period properties and is ideal for finishing a hearth.
