 A pair of attractive pine doors with large panels for glazing. The doors were from the In & Out Club in Pal Mal which was a military club. The doors come with the provenance of the fire safety plate that was attached to one of the doors. The pine has been stripped in a strip tank and the wood has an attractive colour and grain. Due to stripping the doors have been left with some dampness from caustic and cannot be painted and therefore they are suited to internal use only. Each door has two solid panels at the base and a large panel for glazing. We can quote for glazing, please contact us for details and a quote. Hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser. As expected of reclaimed items the doors have some signs of wear and age. The doors have had some patch repairs and there are some small holes and marks where hardware has been removed. We may be able to patch repair the larger existing holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. Some filler can be seen. There are some small surface splits and the edges and corners have some knocks and chips. There is some discolouration to the pine, especially to the inner edges of the glazing panels. The door heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a nice history and are well made and once gazed will make a real feature within the home.
