M1440 A SET OF THREE DECORATIVE RECLAIMED IRON CHURCH DOOR STRAPS

A set of three matching, reclaimed, Gothic style wrought iron door straps. The straps were originally placed on a large church door and are very attractive with curved arms and a central strap with arrow style finial. The straps are ideal for pairing with a large and heavy pine or oak front door and have holes ready for fixing screws. The heavy hinges are in solid condition but do have signs of wear, as expected of antique items. The straps have surface rust and tarnish and purchaser may wish to wire brush them and paint the straps with a protective paint. The hinges are stiff and currently stuck in one position and will need freeing. The straps have some knocks and wear from age. Please see pictures for condition details. The straps will be a fantastic feature on a door and are perfect for adding Gothic character to a home.
