A large reclaimed cast iron fire grill with a large separate ash tray. The fire grill is solid and well made with a simple and classic bar design with raised sides and an open back. The grill has a large metal ash tray that sits underneath the burning grill to collect ash. The tray has a handle so it is easily removed for emptying once the ash is cool. The grill can be paired with a cast iron fire back and is of a good size for a living or dining room. The iron has been blacked and polished and has a good finish. The grill and tray are in good usable condition but have some signs of use, as expected of reclaimed items. There are some small knocks, scratches and casting marks and some signs of use. The tray has some tarnish and surface rust on the inside.  Please see pictures for condition details. The basket's simple and classic style is ideal for both period and modern properties and is perfect for finishing a fireplace.
