A pretty Victorian painted pine front door with glazed panels. The door is solid and well made with mortise and tenon joints and dates to C.1890. The door has two raised and fielded panels at the base with moulded edges. The top 3 panels have a pretty shape and are glazed with textured glass. The glass does not meet current safety standards and will need to be changed. We can re-glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us for details and to discuss your requirements. The front face of the door is painted white and the back face is unpainted. The paint has some chips and marks and purchaser may wish to strip and re-paint the door to suit. Hardware is required, to be supplied by purchaser. The door is slightly under average height and we could add an oak baton to bring the door to size for an extra £25, please contact us to discuss. The door is solid and well made but there are some signs of wear and age, as expected of antique items. There are some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. We can patch repair holes for an extra charge, please contact us for a quote. The door has some knocks and chips. The leading edge has a 5mm bow. If hanging the door on the opposite side, you can use 3 hinges to pull the door in, please contact us to discuss this.
