A very handsome, beautifully crafted, shaker style oak dining table. The table is of an exceptional size and will comfortably seat 10, making it ideal for an open plan kitchen diner or large entertaining space. The table has fantastic rustic character and an excellent construction, comprising of a planked top made using attractive old oak beams and solid and reclaimed oak legs with very old characterful oak beam stretchers. The oak has a beautiful colour, highlighting the wood grain, and the top has been treated with a matt sealant. The table has been made using old materials and therefore has wonderful character and charm, illustrating the oaks age. The table top does have a large knot but we can fill this if required. There are some thin surface splits that do not affect the integrity of the table. The stretchers have some treated woodworm holes. The oak has natural wear and characteristics and some marks. The base is of a darker colour than the top. The top can be removed for transportation. The table has a fantastic appearance and would be the perfect centrepiece for a kitchen or dining room.
