A, tall, elegant painted pine front door with glazed panels. The door is solid and well made with mortise and tenon joints and dates to the early 20th Century. The door has a solid raised and fielded panel with attractive bolection moulding. The top of the door has 2 large panels for glazing and there are a further 3 panels with textured, patterned, glass. We can glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us for details and to discuss your requirements. The door has been painted but does have some chips, marks and flaking and marks where the old door number has been removed. Purchaser may wish to strip and re-paint the door to suit. Hardware is required, to be supplied by purchaser and the hinges are broken. The door does have an attractive brass letterbox plate with rope edge border. The door is solid and well made but there are some signs of wear and age, as expected of antique items. There are some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. We can patch repair holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. The wood has some knocks and chips and there are some rougher edges to the back of the glazing panels. The weather strip on the internal face may need removing or repairing as there is a crack and some damage to it.
