M1484 AN ORIGINAL RECLAIMED VINTAGE MOT TESTING STATION METAL SIGN

An original, vintage, metal MOT testing station sign dating to the 1960's. The sign has the "three triangles" MOT logo in the centre on a blue background and has pressed lettering stating "Vehicle Testing Station" "Approved by the Ministry of Transport". The sign has the fixing holes intact, ready for wall mounting and is the perfect item for vintage sign collectors. The sign is clear and the painted design is in good vintage condition but it does have some signs of age and use, as expected of reclaimed items. The sign has scratches, marks, some staining and residue paint. There is paint residue on the back of the sign. Some knocks can be seen, especially to the white border, chips and small patches of surface rust. The sign has a slight bow. There are some small chips in the paintwork. Please see pictures for condition details. This a good example of vintage signage and it would look great displayed among other reclaimed vehicle advertising signs.
